James made new Ambassador for Lloyds TSB Private Banking
16th March 2005

20 year old Peterborough race ace, and multiple British Champion, James Gornall has been announced as the Ambassador for LloydsTSB Private Banking. Endorsing fully his potential for the future and yet again commercial attractiveness.

The announcement was made to the world press, on Wednesday (16th March), at the prestigious press day for the forthcoming Goodwood Festival. Held in the fabulous settings of Goodwood House Estate, Sussex, the announcement was made as part of LloydsTSB Private Banking 3 year sponsorship of the Goodwood Festival.

James will be on hand to ‘host’ 100 of Lloyds TSB Private Banking millionaire clients during the 3 day event in June this year, and he will be carrying the brand into all that he is involved in from now on.

“I have actually been very busy over the last 2 days” said James. “We came down to Goodwood on Tuesday morning, so I could do a photo shoot with the BAR Honda F1 car and some very nice horses! Which actually made some great shots.! I’m getting quite used to these photo shoots now, especially since I also represent the Real Shaving Company brand and have a modelling contract through that”

“Press day on Wednesday was very enjoyable, meeting and speaking to a lot of famous drivers from around the world, with some also very famous cars, and, including meeting the ambassador of them all Sir Stirling Moss. I was also introduced to Lord March, who is the event organiser. I did a lot of interviews for the various press and magazines who all seemed very interested in the association with Private Banking and myself. I am very happy and excited that LloydsTSB Private Banking have seen fit to ask me to represent their brand, and am really looking forward to an ongoing partnership.”

James is also very excited about being part of the Goodwood Festival of speed and is hoping that he will also be able to drive one of the cars at the event. After all, that is also what he is very good at! This is yet to be confirmed. When asked about the 2005 season, James commented, “we are still trying to finalise a few things in order to have the proper budget in place to ensure I get the best opportunity in whatever I do. Clearly, my association with LloydsTSB Private Banking will help enormously in providing exposure and endorsing my potential for the future, and I hope, attracting other sponsors.”
